 Miracle skin cream!Mar 06, 2010
I have normal/dry skin and received Abyssine Cream as a sample from after buying other products from [...]. I loved it enough to buy a container of it and within a week, my face felt softer than ever before. I agree with the other review that my makeup lasts longer. I would expect that even with skin on the dry side, that I won't be able ot use this in the summer months, but as far as a winter moisturizer with SPF...I haven't found anything better! I'll never stop using this cream!

I have normal/dry skin that is prone to breakouts. I started using this cream about 3 months ago, after I tried (and loved) the sample I received from Kiehl's for buying products directly from their online store. (You get three samples with every purchase). Within a week, I noticed a dramatic difference in the softness of my skin, so much so that I invested in the 1.7oz container. I can imagine it would be too heavy for summer months, but for winter moisturizing and UV protection, I've never found anything better.

I use Kiehl's Abyssine eye cream on a regular basis. I thought I'd order it through Amazon for convenience, but when the cream arrived, I noticed it had a chunky - almost cottage cheese like- texture to it, very different from the usual smooth, creamy texture. It made me wonder if the reason I got a bargain is that there are no bargains and whether this was even the real cream. It feels very different on my skin and doesn't seem to have the same effect as the cream I buy directly from Kiehl's. If I order it from Amazon again, I will make sure that Target is not the vendor. Very disappointed.

I can't seem to use this on a regular basis, because it causes my skin to break out in acne. I do like it unfortunately it doesn't like me back quite as much.

My 41-year-old face has been drying out and I have been seeking true hydration - more than moisture as my facialist advised: hydration. Well, I am so happy that I found it with Kiehls Abyssine. I like is how light it is, the fresh scent and, of course - the hydration! Gosh, even my makeup lasts longer! LOVE IT!
