 Hands down the best hair straightener ever!Jun 04, 2010
I have thick, frizzy, poofy, wavy hair and this works so great on my hair! It heats up extremely fast and with the temperature settings it's great for any kind of hair. I've had mine for about 6 years and it has definitely proven its self! It is a bit pricey but totally worth the money! Since it has rounded edges you can curl your hair, curl it under or flip it out. It takes some getting used to if you never have curled your hair with a straightener, but now that I know how to do it i love how it looks. Also, The fist time I purchased the 2 inch one but the 1 inch works better because it gets hotter so, in my opinion straightens better. Yes, it does damage your hair some but what heat styling tool doesn't? I use Biosilk serum and it helps.

I purchased a 1" Infrashine original 5 years ago when I was in cosmetology school. I used it on myself & all my clients 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. Men, women, all hair types & ethnicities. Myself, I naturally have very thick, unruly, wavy, crazy hair. Every other flat iron I have tried has either pulled my hair out, didn't get hot enough to style my wiry hair and left it looking frizzy or both. Even the CHIs. I know most of you are thinking, no way CHI is the best or you've heard CHI is the best. I am 100% anti-CHI and I've tried several, none style my hair right and they ALL tug at my hair or just rip it out all together. The Infrashine is so smooth and the description is right on the money. Those styles stay nice for a while! The product came with a 1 year warranty, the flat iron lasted for 5 years strong. It never fell apart (no matter how much I dropped it) or lost its power or heat. It finally died out on me and I really didn't know what to do. Thankfully I found them here at Amazon & express shipped a new 1 immediately. It's just like the one I got 5 years ago and I plan on keeping this one for 5 more. BUY THIS!!!

I have used straighteners for years. My mom bought this for me instead of a new CHI when mine died and I am so glad she did. It is AMAZING. It is small and easy to use and by far the best straightener I have ever used. All of my friends want to borrow it and use it when they are at my house. I will probably never buy another brand.

I'd fallen into a rut. For the last 10 years, I'd had the same boring bob, but I didn't think that I had many options because my hair is baby fine. So when I got my most recent haircut and the stylist used an Infrashine flat iron on my hair to give it some pizazz, I knew that I had to have one. Upon arriving home, I promptly did a quick search to see who had the best price (Amazon!) and ordered one. My cupboards are full of beauty products that didn't live up to their claims, but this is one purchase I'm glad that I made. I love the 1" size, too. It's perfect for my chin length cut. I'd recommend purchasing a bottle of Biosilk Therapy Serum to go along with the flat iron. It seems to really protect my hair and leaves it extra soft and shiny.

The cord is long and doesn't tangle
Adjustable temp--doesn't damage hair
Con's:
Pricey
Does take a little practice if you've never used a flat iron before
