 May help badly damaged hairJan 30, 2010

I purchased this product because I was in Europe a few months ago, and even though I had a converter for my Flat iron, there must have still been some sort of electrical problem because my flat iron got so hot that it badly burnt my hair and then melted. So, I was left with severely damaged hair (gets very kinky and coarse when wet). I have been using this product for about a month and I think it is helping. GRanted, my hair is not back to the way it was, but I honestly don't think that any product could help it. This is a very deep conditioner and i think with time, it will slowly help my hair get back to normal. If you have damaged hair, this should help.

I tried this product based on the rave review others have given Alterna 10 shampoo & conditioner. Believe me, this did NOTHING for my hair. I was better off using AVEDA DAMAGE CONTROL Products. Those atleast are priced better.
Save your money please. I learned the hard way that this product is a major rip off!

First of all be careful when buying from this page. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001E9N774/ref=oss_product Product rarely matches the description, picture, or what version/size of the product the seller is selling. Amazon should remove and stabalize page. Other than that, I must whole heartedly agree with many other reviews about this product, do not waste your time or money. It takes way too much for it to do a decent job on the hair and there are quite simply better for around 9 dollars at your local convenience store. Alterna makes some quite fine and excellent products, this is not one of them. It contains a lot of excellent ingredients, however it is still not worth what your paying for, shop on conditioner shoppers, shop on.

This shampoo makes your hair feel stronger and healthier. It felt softer and was shinier. I just wish I could still afford it - unfortunately it's a bit expensive for me.
