 Soft, natural-looking curlsOct 27, 2008

I have thick, fine, wavy hair that curls pretty well with the right products. Many leave my hair stiff or they weigh it down. I stumbled across Davines Moisturizing Curl Enhancing Serum when traveling, and though I have several curl activating/enhancing products, I return to this consistently. It gives my hair just enough moisture to curl and stay soft, and the curl holds pretty well (even though I'm not sure this product is supposed to provide hold). I like my hair to have curl and some volume but to look natural, and I'm not willing to spend much time styling. I simply blow-dry and scrunch. If I'm going out in the evening and want a little more control, I'll spritz on just a little light hairspray, but otherwise I like the results I get with this product alone.

I love this product. I have thick, naturally curly hair and every time I wash and blow dry, the first product I put on is Davines Momo Moisturizing Curl Enhancing Serum 5.07 fl oz (150 ml). I often mix it 50-50 with Aquage Defining Gel for the perfect combination. It leaves my hair soft and the curls stay for several days with minimum upkeep. All I have to do is add a little of the Curl Enhancing Serum in the morning and scrunch up my curls. My hair looks like it was just styled. My husband, who has REALLY curly hair, loves this product and often 'borrows' mine because he likes it so much. I just ordered him his own bottle.

This product does enhance curls though I have had better results leaving the hair to dry naturally. My hair curls do not look as defined and soft when I blow dry (using a diffuser), it could be my technique, not sure.
It is a good product overall and does not take a lot of it to get the results. I just purchased the shampoo and conditioner of the same brand, reviews coming soon.

This product is great for curl definition. It's not overly moisturizing, so I like to use a leave-in conditioner before applying the serum. Works great when I scrunch it into wet hair and let it dry naturally.

My hair is very curly and dry and nothing has worked for me but I finally found this product and it does the trick for me.
It's defines my curls and kicks frizz out! Love this product!
